Is a Studio Membership Worth It for Orlando Photographers?

A membership only makes sense if it actually saves you money. So let us skip the sales pitch and just do the math on ours.

The simple version

Our membership is $19 a month, and it takes 20% off every booking, automatically, on top of our half day and full day discounts. There are no codes to remember and you can cancel anytime.

Here is the breakeven: at 20% off, the membership pays for itself once you spend about $95 on rentals in a month. Weekends are the most popular time to shoot, and the priciest, so a single weekend booking usually clears that on its own. Book here even once a month and you come out ahead.

A real example

Say you book a half day in Studio B on a weekend for a styled shoot. That comes to $384 at our standard rate, and members take 20% off the top. That one booking saves you well past a whole month of membership, and every shoot after it is money back in your pocket.

If you are a working photographer running a few sessions a month, the discount adds up to real money over a year.

The perks that aren't about money

The discount is the easy part. The reason regulars join is the access:

• Priority booking. Members can book further out than the public can, so you can lock in the dates your clients need before the calendar fills.
• First dibs on new sets. Studio B's styled set changes with the seasons, and members get first peek and first booking on each new one.
• No friction. The discount applies itself at checkout, and you manage everything yourself.

So, is it worth it?

If you shoot here once in a blue moon, probably not, and that is fine. Book by the hour whenever you need us. But if the studio is part of how you work, the membership quietly pays for itself and then keeps paying.
